#LSIFF2026

From its successful premiere in 2025, #LSIFF2026 continued the tradition of bringing together visionary innovators and curious investors in a uniquely open and generous atmosphere.

This year’s forum welcomed around 30 investors, whose expertise, curiosity, and constructive feedback helped shape the future of some of the most promising Swedish life science innovations. Through meaningful discussions and shared insights, ideas were challenged, refined, and strengthened.

The collaborative spirit that defined the inaugural event remained at the heart of #LSIFF2026, making it a valuable platform for accelerating innovation and connecting bold life science innovators with the people who can help turn breakthrough ideas into real-world impact.

Big congratulations to Stina Wallmark at Voima ventures – winner of best investor pitch 2026!

Thank you to all investors, founders, partners, and contributors who made this year’s event such a success!

Here are some voices from the participants at #LSIFF2026:

”You miss 100% of the shots you don’t take.” That’s one reason I always enjoy LSIFF. It puts some of Sweden’s most exciting early-stage life science innovations in front of investors, making it much harder to miss the next great company.

Last week at LSIFF was one of those days that reminded me why I find this work interesting.
/…/ The quality of what is coming out of Swedish university research right now is hard to ignore.

Great ideas deserve great conversations!

Great to attend #LSIFF2026 to chat innovation and impact in the lifescience space – great crowd of early stage lifescience projects, companies and investors

Interesting take homes from the panel discussions at #LSIFF2026.
• Every investor meeting is a trust-building exercise for a long-term relationship.
• Investors come in many different flavors, understand who you’re talking to and where you fit in.
• The baseline has been raised significantly in the AI era. Be prepared.

One of the most valuable aspects of the event was the opportunity to receive feedback and engage in thoughtful discussions with investors and industry experts. The conversations made us to think more deeply about the journey from innovation to impact which is ultimately bringing a meaningful therapy to patients.

The forum brings together early-stage, research-based innovations from universities across the country with investors, industry experts and innovation support actors, all with a shared goal: accelerating the journey from science to real-world impact.

The quality of the innovations was impressive, but what stood out most was the willingness to challenge assumptions, learn from feedback, and adapt.
This was highlighted by a valuable reminder from the investor panels: success rarely happens in isolation. Building relationships with mentors, industry experts, and strategic partners can accelerate progress as much as funding itself.

Being selected for three one-to-one meetings was both encouraging and motivating, providing valuable insights as we continue developing our project and exploring its potential impact on the genomics community.

Staying at the forefront of life science means being present where new technologies and business concepts take shape. This Monday, we attended the Life Science Innovation Frontiers Forum (LSIFF) in Stockholm to connect with innovators firsthand. LSIFF brings together early-stage research projects, university innovation offices, venture capitalists, angel investors, and strategic partners.

Grateful to have spent the day at the Life Science Innovation Frontiers Forum 2026 in Stockholm! A day full of exciting ideas, generous conversations, and new faces, including investors who took the time to share valuable feedback that’s already helping us sharpen where we’re headed.

Framtidens life science formas redan idag! På Life Science Innovation Frontiers Forum (LSIFF) 2026 samlas forskare, innovatörer, investerare och företag för att lyfta fram några av de mest lovande forskningsbaserade innovationerna från svenska universitet.
